Cigar storage time

High-quality handmade cigars can keep their flavor unchanged after many years of preservation. Precious cigars are typically cured in the air conditioning equipment of the factory or distributor for about 6 months before they are shipped to the tobacco industry. However, due to the strong demand for Cuban cigars, there are more and more signs that this ripening process is gradually shortening. Therefore, after buying back cigars, after 3-6 months of curing before smoking. In the process of curing, the cigar can radiate a more stable flavor. However, some rare cigars may glow with a unique fragrance after a few years of ripening. Therefore, the decision when to stop ripening also depends on personal taste and the intensity of the cigar.
Characteristics of a well-kept cigar
A well-kept cigar will give off shine and a little grease. Sometimes cigars also have a very thin layer of white crystals, which is often said to be exuberant cigars. Check whether a cigar is well preserved. You can gently squeeze the cigar with your fingers without crushing and drying. But at the same time, it should not have too heavy a sense of moisture, let alone a sense of moisture, and it should not be too soft.
